John Seerey-Lester

John Seerey-Lester is working on a new book depicting famous historic safari and hunting scenes. Paintings from the book are available for sale and John also released a select few in limited edition prints on canvas. "Tanganyika Twilight" is set on the Serengeti Plain in Tanganyika, formerly German East Africa and now Tanzania. The "Roaring Twenties" invades East Africa, and now with easier transportation, more and more would-be hunters are setting up as professionals.

"Campfire Cohorts", set around 1904, depicts two clients with their hunter, Victor Newland. They have probably had a sumptuous dinner (champagne & caviar) and have now moved around the campfire to enjoy cigars and brandy where they will tell tall tales late into the night.

James Stroud

We are pleased to debut our first textured print at Native Visions Galleries. James Stroud's "Mom's Boys" is now available in a limited edition of 99 signed and numbered prints. Duplicating James' thick texture which he creates with a palette knife, James work has a wonderful contemporary feel, yet also frames beautifully in traditional molding. Often referred to as "sculptures in paint" James original paintings continue to sell even before they are hung on our gallery walls.

George Bucquet

George Bucquet creates contemporary hand-formed cast glass imagery that is both meditative and visually stimulating. Working together with precision timing, Bucquet and his assistants pour hot glass, thick and translucent as honey, into a handmade sand mold, then carefully press it into shape. After several days of cooling in an annealing oven, each bowl is skillfully hand-detailed with copper, silver and gold leaf.
